Eskom’s ever-expanding mining, commercial, and industrial activities, and the elevating needs on the current existing infrastructure created a huge need for capable employees, specifically in the areas of production, construction, development design, research, and engineering function. Thus, several bursary plans are provided to support competent students to get good education. The first bursary plan is full bursary, which is offered based on the business needs of the company. The second is scholarship, which is offered to the dependence of Eskom workers according to the employees’ years of service (minimum 5 years of service) and academic deserving students.
