Our platform helps to makemake Bursaries\u00a0search easy and convenient for you.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"About_CHIETA\"\/>About\u00a0CHIETA<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>The Chemical Industries Education &amp; Training Authority or CHIETA is a legal organization established by the Skills Development Act (1998) with a vision of world-class education and training for the chemical industry. This is done through the CHIETA\u2019s responsibility of facilitating the skills development in the chemical sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CHIETA_Bursaries\"\/>CHIETA Bursaries<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>CHIETA founded a bursary programme in order to financially support qualified young South Africans to continue their full time higher education. The bursary will be granted to full-time studies at any accredited South African public tertiary institution within the sub-sectors such as Petroleum, Explosives, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Base Chemicals, Fertilisers, Speciality, Chemicals, Glass, Pharmaceuticals, Surface Coatings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following fields of study will be prioritized for the bursary programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analytical Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Industrial)<\/li>\n<li>Biochemistry<\/li>\n<li>Polymer Technology<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Science<\/li>\n<li>Pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical Technology<\/li>\n<li>Operations Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The bursary pays for the tuition fees as defined through the institution\u2019s statement of account which is capped at the amount of R76 000.00 maximum. Any remaining amount may cover books and other academic expenses according to the proof of expenditure.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"CHIETA_Bursary_Requirements_and_Eligibility\"\/>CHIETA Bursary Requirements and Eligibility<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Between the ages of 16 to 35 who are not receiving any other bursary funding<\/li>\n<li>Recently completed Grade 12\/Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science<\/li>\n<li>Currently studying or already registered in one of the\u00a0disciplines mentioned above with an accredited South African tertiary institution and have passed all their previous semester\u2019s modules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Apply_and_Application_Details\"\/>How to Apply and Application Details<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Download and complete in full the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/allbursaries.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/CHIETA-2018-Bursary-Application.pdf\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">CHIETA Bursary Application form<\/a>.
