The company serves a client base across 3 countries (South Africa; Australia and the United Kingdom) with various financial products and services.<\/p>\n<p>Investec, listed on the JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) and the LSE (London Stock Exchange), employs over 9000 staff members worldwide. The company has banking operations in the United States; Canada; Switzerland; Hong Kong; Taiwan; Guernsey; Jersey; Botswana; Namibia and Mauritius<\/p>\n<p>The banks services include: Investment Banking; Private Banking; and Corporate and Institutional Banking.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ABOUT_THE_BURSARY_PROGRAMME\"\/>ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>The Investec Bank CSI Bursary, administered by the StudyTrust, are awarding partial bursaries to those studying (or planning to study) towards a specific undergraduate degree qualification, relevant to the financial services and other key industries.<\/p>\n<p>The partial bursary will provide coverage for approximately 50% of the total study fees per annum \u2013 students will be required to cover the remainder of their fees via another method (student loan\/ NSFAS etc).<br \/>Bursaries will be awarded within the following fields of study:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Economics<\/li>\n<li>Business Economics<\/li>\n<li>Business Science<\/li>\n<li>Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Finance<\/li>\n<li>Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Investments<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Commercial LLB<\/li>\n<li>Actuarial Science<\/li>\n<li>Science<\/li>\n<li>Computer Science (BSc)<\/li>\n<li>Information Technology (BSc \/ BIT-Bachelors of)<\/li>\n<li>Information Science (BIS-Bachelor of)<\/li>\n<li>Informatics (BCom)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ELIGIBILITY_REQUIREMENTS\"\/>ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Strong academic potential<\/li>\n<li>Completed Matric OR currently in Matric<\/li>\n<li>Achieved a minimum result of 50% for ALL subjects in Matric<\/li>\n<li>Achieved a minimum result of 70% for English in Matric<\/li>\n<li>Achieved a minimum result of 70% for Mathematics in Matric (not Mathematical Literacy)<\/li>\n<li>Studying or intend on studying full time within one of the aforementioned fields of study (undergraduate degree)<\/li>\n<li>Studying or intend on studying at a recognised public University in South Africa (students at private institutions will not be funded)<\/li>\n<li>Actuarial Science students must be in the first year of study<\/li>\n<li>Proven financial need<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" (certified copies of)<\/li>\n<li>if residing with your guardian while parents are alive: guardians latest payslips (certified copies of)<\/li>\n<li>if parents are divorced: divorce certificate
