The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform is responsible for the department. The DRDLR are responsible for land reform; deeds registration; cadastral surveying and topographic mapping.<\/p>\n<p>The Department\u2019s mission is to initiate, as well as facilitate, coordinate and implement rural development programmes.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ABOUT_THE_BURSARY_PROGRAMME_%E2%80%93_FIELDS_COVERED\"\/>ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME \u2013 FIELDS COVERED<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform will be awarding bursaries within the following fields of study:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Land Surveying\/ Geomatics (BSc)<\/li>\n<li>Town and Regional Planning\/ Urban Design (BSc)<\/li>\n<li>Geo-Informatics\/ Geographic Information Science (BSc\/ BA)<\/li>\n<li>Surveying\/ Cartography (National Diploma)<\/li>\n<li>Town and Regional Planning (National Diploma)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"MORE_ABOUT_THE_BURSARY_PROGRAMME_%E2%80%93_FIELDS_COVERED_COVERAGE_VALUE\"\/>MORE ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME \u2013 FIELDS COVERED &amp;
