In addition, they will have the following:<\/p>\n At least 2 principal passes at UACE<\/p>\n An Advanced Certificate of Education or its equivalent.<\/p>\n With a Principal Pass in Biology, Chemistry or Physics<\/p>\n And a pass in Mathematics obtained from Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent.<\/p>\n OR<\/strong><\/p>\n A Certificate in Science Laboratory Technology with at least a credit pass or its equivalent from a recognized institution plus two years experience.<\/p>\n A credit in two science subjects i.e. Chemistry and Biology or Physics.<\/p>\n A pass in Mathematics and English.<\/p>\n Should;<\/p>\n Be Registered as either Nurses or Midwives or Comprehensive Nurses or Psychiatric Nurses or Paediatric Nurses.<\/p>\n Be registered or eligible for registration with Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.<\/p>\n Have been in clinical practice for at least two years after full registration.<\/p>\n Candidates must submit portfolio addressing their achievements of prior learning.\u00a0 This will be used in the selection process for admission.<\/p>\n Sit and pass an entrance examination in Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology.
