Chuka University is a public university in the Tharaka Nithi County, Kenya. The University is situated approximately 186 km from Nairobi along the Nairobi-Meru highway, in a rural setting on the eastern slopes of Mt. Kenya at an altitude of approximately 2,000 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n

a) Application Procedure<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Non-refundable Application Fee (Kshs 3,000 for PhD. Programmes, KShs 2,000 for Masters Degree & Diploma, Kshs 1,000 for Certificate Courses)<\/li>\n
  2. Complete and signed application form\u00a0Download application form here<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Originals & a copy of all Transcripts, Diplomas or Certificates (All originals, where necessary, will be returned)<\/li>\n
  4. One recent passport size photograph (write your name on reverse side)<\/li>\n
  5. Copy of the National Identity Card or Birth Certificate<\/li>\n
  6. Research Concept paper (PhD. Only)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    b) Certified copies of certificates and original fee payment receipt MUST be attached to the application form and returned\u00a0latest two weeks<\/strong>\u00a0prior to the commencement dates given for the programmes.<\/p>\n

    c) One Academic Year is equivalent to 2 semesters for full-time or 3 blocks for school-based mode.<\/p>\n

    d) Diploma holders may take a shorter period to complete a Bachelors degree after credit transfer.<\/p>\n

    e) Preferred Campus should be indicated on the application form.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
