See the amount payable as school fees at University of Namibia (UNAM). Authorities of the University of Namibia (UNAM) have released the amount payable as school fees by fresh and returning postgraduate and undergraduate students.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Summary<\/h4>\n

All current and prospective students of the University of Namibia are urged to take note of the following approved compulsory minimum registration, tuition and hostel (where applicable) fees deposit for the 2018 academic year.<\/p>\n

All students (including bursaries and loans holders) should pay a compulsory Connectivity Fee of N$ 575 (N$ 500 + N$75 VAT).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

A Wear & Tear\u00a0Fee of N$850 (non-refundable) is payable before or on the day of Registration.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hostel Fee is payable upfront, on the day of Registration, at the beginning of each semester.<\/p>\n

Important notices<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Students are encouraged to sort out their financial enquiries prior to registration.<\/li>\n
  • Outstanding balances<\/strong>\u00a0of previous years should be settled in full, before registration.<\/li>\n
  • Students, who settle their Tuition Fees before the end of February qualify for a\u00a010% discount on Tuition Fees<\/strong>\u00a0(excl. additional class fees) and should apply in writing on or before 30 June of the same year.<\/li>\n
  • In order to be exempted from paying the required deposit, bursary holders need to\u00a0provide written proof of sponsorship \/ bursary<\/strong>from the Donor.<\/li>\n
  • Students registering with an\u00a0Acknowledgement Letter from<\/strong>\u00a0Namibia Student Financial Assistant Fund (NSFAF)\u00a0<\/strong>should pay the Registration Fee of N$1,425, Connectivity fee of N$ 575 (N$ 500 + N$ 75 VAT) plus the required deposit for campus accommodation. \u00a0Kindly take note that the Acknowledgement Letter is not a guarantee for a loan to be awarded.<\/li>\n
  • Connectivity Fees are compulsory and charged once off, paid to obtain internet access for the year via\u00a0tn mobile<\/em>\u00a0(Telecom Namibia).<\/li>\n
  • Late Registration Fee of N$600<\/strong>\u00a0is payable by all students who register after normal registration.<\/li>\n
  • Direct bank deposits and electronic transfers<\/strong>\u00a0(EFT) should be done two (2) working days before registration date.<\/li>\n
  • A\u00a0student number<\/strong>\u00a0must be used as reference for all direct and electronic deposits.<\/li>\n
  • Cheque payments<\/strong>\u00a0directly into the University\u2019s bank account should be made five (5) working days before registration date.<\/li>\n
  • Payments at the different\u00a0University Campus cashiers<\/strong>, will reflect immediately.<\/li>\n
  • Due date<\/strong>\u00a0for the remaining balance after registration is\u00a030 June 2018.<\/strong><\/li>\n
