HOW TO APPLY<\/h4>\n

Before you apply to NUST please familiarise yourself with the programmes \/ qualifications on offer as well as the admission requirements.<\/p>\n

After deciding on a qualification you are willing to pursue, you may:<\/p>\n

  • Apply to NUST online at\u00a0 Applying online provides you with immediate notification that your application has been received.\u00a0 You will also be able to follow the progress of your application online. Online applications is FREE!<\/li>\n
  • Apply manually by downloading the application form, complete and submit at the NUST Main Campus or any of the Regional Centres or via the post. An application fee of N$150 for undergraduate and N$240 for postgraduate is payable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    WHEN TO APPLY<\/h4>\n

    The closing date for all applications\u00a0except application through Mature Age Entry Scheme<\/strong>\u00a0is\u00a031 August.\u00a0<\/strong>The closing date for applications through the Mature Age Entry Scheme is\u00a031 July<\/strong>. Applicants will be notified in writing as soon as possible after the closing date whether their applications for\u00a0admission have been successful or not.<\/p>\n

    If the application is received after the closing date, the prescribed non-refundable late application fee of N$440 must accompany the application. No late applications will be considered for admission via the Mature Age Entry Scheme.\u00a0 The Namibia University of Science and Technology reserves the right to reject any such late applications.<\/p>\n

    CERTIFIED COPIES OF DOCUMENTS THAT MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR APPLICATION ARE:<\/h4>\n

    • Identity Document or Birth Certificate (Namibian Citizens);<\/li>\n
    • Passport (non-Namibian citizens);<\/li>\n
    • If applying manually, proof of payment (e.g. original bank deposit slip);<\/li>\n
    • Latest school results eg. Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC), August results (current grade 12 learners);<\/li>\n
    • Declaration and Undertaking.\u00a0 If you are under the age of 18, the form must be co-signed by a legal guardian or parent;<\/li>\n
    • Reference letter from employer(s) \u2013 Applicable to Mature Age Entry Scheme applicants only;<\/li>\n
    • Certified copies of qualification(s) e.g. diploma, degree etc., Academic Record\/Transcripts and complete syllabi \u2013 for Postgraduate or Advanced Standing Applicants;<\/li>\n
