{"id":6717,"date":"2022-06-23T12:02:30","date_gmt":"2022-06-23T12:02:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uptymes.com\/edu\/vodacom-digital-accelerator-for-startups-with-innovative-solutions-in-tanzania-2020\/"},"modified":"2022-06-23T12:02:30","modified_gmt":"2022-06-23T12:02:30","slug":"vodacom-digital-accelerator-for-startups-with-innovative-solutions-in-tanzania-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uptymes.com\/edu\/vodacom-digital-accelerator-for-startups-with-innovative-solutions-in-tanzania-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Vodacom Digital Accelerator for Startups with Innovative Solutions in Tanzania 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Vodacom is offering a Digital Accelerator for startups that have innovative solutions for Fintech, E-commerce, Telecom, Health, Mobile, Education, Agriculture and Media in 2020.<\/p>\n<p class=\"lr\">Vodacom Digital Accelerator is a program that seeks start-ups that have innovative solutions and provides facilitation to take these businesses to the next level.<\/p>\n<p class=\"lr\">The startups will have access to mentorship, co-working space, hosting assistance, Vodacom and Smart Codes staff advisors and business development trainings.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Worth_of_Award\"\/><strong>Worth of Award<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h4>\n<div class=\"col-sm-6 flex-box lr\">\n<div class=\"eligic\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"title\">Sponsorship: Vodacom will provide sponsors for the selected applicants who will act as mentors for the candidates.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Vodacom Foundation Projects: The start-ups will have access to a segment of Vodacom\u2019s wide-reaching active customer base for product testing.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Technical support: Startups in the program will receive technical support in terms of hosting, software development, advisory, and integration.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Partnering in Corporate Social Responsibility: Startups with a social responsibility focus in health, education, financial inclusion or human resources can utilize their product \/platform to support ongoing.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Mpesa for Business Services: Monetary transactions and collections made on behalf of our incubated startups (for work-related purposes) will be exclusively be done via Vodacom M-Pesa.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Follow-on investment for Growth: Startups that do well in the program will receive follow-on investment to rapidly grow their startup across the country and in Africa.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Go to market strategy: Startups will receive help crafting their go to market strategies, growth strategies, and marketing strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility\"\/><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h4>\n<div>\n<div class=\"row features\">\n<div class=\"col-md-4 col-sm-6 flex-box lr\">\n<div class=\"eligic\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"title\">Post Production: Applicants must have an idea\/product that is already functional.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">1 Year+ in the Market: Applicants must have an idea\/product that has been in the market for over a year.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Full-Time Founders: Business or idea being pitched for must have founders who supervise it on a full-time basis.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Industry\/Sector Focused: Applicants must have an idea\/product that is focused and based on the focus sectors.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Africa Based: Ideas and products must be relevant to the African Market.<\/li>\n<li class=\"title\">Registered Entity: Any idea or product being presented must be registered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Apply\"\/><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You can apply for this opportunity online<\/li>\n<li>Only suitable ideas will pass to the next stage of the program for acceleration.
