The companies operations include Roads; Developments (large scale mixed-use housing developments); Construction (Buildings, Civil and Plant); as well as Mining (opencast mining, surface contract mining and related services)<\/p>\n<p>The JSE listed company has undertaken construction and engineering works in South Africa; Botswana; Namibia; Zambia and St Helena. Basil Read\u2019s core values include: safety, delivery, integrity, commitment, unity and compassion.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ABOUT_THE_BURSARY_PROGRAMME_%E2%80%93_FIELDS_COVERED_COVERAGE_VALUE\"\/>ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME \u2013 FIELDS COVERED &amp; COVERAGE VALUE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>The Basil Read bursary programme was initiated to help financially needing students to follow their dreams and continue their studies in light of their financial positions.
