The selective screening is based on the academic achievement at the secondary level. The credential that the applicant should possess is a minimum requirement is C plus in KCSE. Students who do not speak English as their first language are required to show proficiency in English before beginning an academic program. The students who are U.S. citizens\/permanent residents have to submit their SAT or ACT marks for evaluation. The scores of SAT or ACT are evaluated in conjunction with the high school grade point average.
