(Grades E and F in any subject is not accepted<\/strong>)<\/p>\nWEST AFRICA SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (WASSSCE)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n- Applicants must have aggregate 36 or better. Candidates must have Grade C6 or better in six subjects; three of the six subjects must be<\/li>\n
- Core subjects:<\/strong>\u00a0English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies in addition to any three elective subjects at WASSCE (Grades D7 and E8 are not accepted<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION GCE \u2018O\u2019 AND \u2018A\u2019 LEVELS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Candidates must have five (5) credit passes (Grade 6) including English Language, Mathematics and a Science or an Arts Subject at the \u201cO\u201d Level AND at least three (3) passes in any subject at the GCE\u00a0 Advanced level.<\/li>\n
- At least one of the \u2018A\u2019 level passes must be at a grade not lower than D.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
CERTIFICATE \u2018A\u2019, 3 YEAR POST SECONDARY<\/strong>
Certificate \u2018A\u2019 3 Year Post Secondary Certificate holders with credit passes in Core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies.<\/p>\nGENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (GBCE)<\/strong>
Applicants must have five (5) credit passes, made up of three (3) compulsory subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and two (2) optional subjects in the GBCE.<\/p>\nMATURE APPLICANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Mature candidates must be at least 25 years at the time of submission of application.<\/li>\n
- Must have working experience in any establishment including self-employment.<\/li>\n
- Applicants must show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of birth which is at least five (5) years old at the time of submission of application.<\/li>\n
- Applicants must also provide introductory letter from employer or show any other proof of employment.<\/li>\n
- Applicants will be required to write EPUC Entry Qualifying Examination in English, Mathematics, General<\/li>\n
- Paper, and a Special Paper (Programme area) this examination shall be moderated by University of Cape Coast (UCC)<\/li>\n
- NB. Applicants who have Credit Passes in English and Mathematics will not write EPUC Qualifying<\/li>\n
- Examination in Mathematics and English.<\/li>\n
- Access course is organized for interested mature applicants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
LEVEL 200<\/strong><\/p>\nDIPLOMA IN BASIC EDUCATION (DBE) CERTIFICATE HOLDERS<\/strong>
Diploma in Basic Education applicants are to provide introductory letter from their employers or show any other proof of employment.<\/p>\nGENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (GBCE) AND ADVANCE BUSINESS CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (ABCE)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Applicants must have five (5) credit passes, made up of three (3) compulsory subjects (English Language,<\/li>\n
- Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies) and two (2) optional subjects in the GBCE. In addition, applicants must have three (3) passes in ABCE subjects (at least one of the passes should be Grade D or better).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE AND HND HOLDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Relevant professional qualification holders (Foundation or intermediate levels of ACCA, ICA, CIMA, CIM, GAT etc.).<\/li>\n
- Applicants are to provide introductory letter from their employers or show any other proof of employment.<\/li>\n
- Applicants with a pass in relevant HND with two years post HND qualification working experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
LEVEL 300<\/strong>.<\/p>\nDIPLOMA HOLDERS FROM ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Diploma holders with distinction or first class or second class lower in Adult Education, Social Work, Integrated Development Studies, and any other relevant course from accredited Universities\/Institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA HOLDERS (HND)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- HND holders, with Second Class Lower or better with two years Post HND qualification working experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE HOLDERS FROM ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Applicants who possess relevant professional certificates eg. Part II\/ Level II of ICA, ACCA, CIMA, CIM or CIB etc.<\/li>\n
- Applicants are to provide introductory letter from their employers or show any other proof of employment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Foreign Students<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Foreign students with qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above will be considered for admission at the appropriate level.<\/li>\n
- However, applicants from Francophone and other non-English speaking countries must attach to their applications evidence of Proficiency in English. All foreign certificates shall be referred to National Accreditation Board for determination of equivalence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
