Welcome to instruction page on how to turn off your adblocker. Below are steps you can take in order to white list on your browser or device.<\/p>\n

Google Chrome<\/b><\/u>
Using AdBlock Plus<\/i>
\u2022 Click on the AdBlock Plus icon on the top right of your browser
\u2022 A drop-down menu will appear with a check mark followed by\u00a0Enabled on this site<\/b><\/i>
\u2022 Click the button to until the text reads\u00a0Disabled on this site<\/b><\/i>
\u2022 Refresh the page or click\u00a0Continue to site<\/b>, to access <\/p>\n

Using Chrome adblock extension<\/i>
\u2022 Click on the hand icon for adblock extension, on the top right corner of your browser
\u2022 A drop-down menu will appear
\u2022 Click the\u00a0Don\u2019t run on pages on this domain<\/b><\/i>\u00a0option on the drop down
\u2022 Once clicked a settings popup will appear.
\u2022 Click\u00a0Exclude<\/b><\/i>
\u2022 Refresh the page or click\u00a0Continue to site<\/b>, to access <\/p>\n

Firefox<\/b><\/u>
\u2022 Click on the AdBlock Plus icon on the top right of your browser
\u2022 A drop-down menu will appear
\u2022 Click the\u00a0Disabled on <\/b><\/i>\u00a0option on the drop down
\u2022 Refresh the page or click\u00a0Continue to site<\/b>, to access <\/p>\n

\u2022 Firefox \u201cPrivate Window\u201d runs its own version of adblock. You will receive an adblock detection screen on private window, even if you are not running any adblock plugins. In this case, you will need to open mabumbe on your standard Firefox window.<\/p>\n

Internet Explorer<\/b><\/u>
\u2022 Click on the AdBlock Plus icon on the bottom right hand side of your browser
\u2022 A drop-down menu will appear
\u2022 Click the\u00a0Disable on www.<\/b><\/i>\u00a0option on the drop down
\u2022 Refresh the page or click\u00a0Continue to site<\/b>, to access <\/p>\n

Devices with Apple IOS9 and above<\/b><\/u>
\u2022 Go to the Settings app on the main screen
\u2022 Click on the Safari button
\u2022 From Menu click\u00a0Content Blockers<\/b><\/i>
\u2022 You will see your blocker enabled. Slide button to the left to disable.
\u2022 Return to your Safari browser and refresh the page or click\u00a0Continue to site<\/b>, to access <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    • Select the\u00a0Websites<\/strong>\u00a0section in the Preference window, which brings up a list of\u00a0General<\/strong>
      options on the left.<\/li>\n
    • Select\u00a0Content Blockers<\/strong>. A list of websites will come up with options to turn \u201con\u201d or \u201coff\u201d content blockers. Select \u201cOff\u201d for\u00a0globalnews.com<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Close the Preference window<\/li>\n
    • Close this page to return to the video and click\u00a0Continue watching<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Safari on iPhone \/ iPad<\/h2>\n

      • Open iPhone \/ iPad\u00a0Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Select\u00a0Safari<\/strong>\u00a0from the list of settings<\/li>\n
      • Under the\u00a0General<\/strong>\u00a0section, select\u00a0Content Blockers<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Toggle off the ad blocker<\/li>\n
      • Return to the video loaded in\u00a0Safari<\/strong>, click\u00a0Continue watching<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • If ad blocker is still detected, restart Safari and try again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
