COAL operates in Australia, Colombia, Canada and South Africa, where they supply the domestic and export energy markets.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ABOUT_THE_BURSARY_PROGRAMME\"\/>ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>Anglo Thermal Coal bursary is a full coverage bursary, providing cover for all study related expenses. Bursaries will be awarded within the following Mining related fields of study:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Mining Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Mine Survey<\/li>\n<li>Metallurgy<\/li>\n<li>Geology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Students must take part in compulsory vacation work during the December\/ January holidays, for 6 weeks per year. Upon graduation, students may be required to take up employment at Anglo (depending on availability within the company).<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ELIGIBILITY_REQUIREMENTS\"\/>ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Completed Matric OR currently in Matric<\/li>\n<li>Studying or intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study<\/li>\n<li>Studying or intend on studying at a recognised University or University of Technology in South Africa<\/li>\n<li>Engineering and Geology degree students: must have achieved a minimum of level 6 for Mathematics and Science in Matric<\/li>\n<li>Meet the minimum entry requirements of your chosen University in your selected field of study<\/li>\n<li>*Preference will be given to learners who reside in areas surrounding the mine operation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"HOW_TO_APPLY_FOR_THE_BURSARY\"\/>HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BURSARY<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>You may apply in one of the following ways:<br \/>1) Online at:\u00a0<strong>http:\/\/cw.gradx.net\/<\/strong><br \/>(You will need to register an account and then login to complete your application.
