Founded in 1974, the Association currently has in excess of 9600 members, including cooks, chefs, restaurateurs, catering and hotel company directors, culinary educators, apprentices and trainees.<\/p>\n<p>SA Chefs plays a vital role in training and improving the standards of the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ABOUT_THE_BURSARY_PROGRAMME_%E2%80%93_FIELDS_COVERED_COVERAGE_VALUE\"\/>ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME \u2013 FIELDS COVERED &amp; COVERAGE VALUE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>The South African Chefs Association will be awarding the Bryan Montgomery Bursary Fund (BMBF) to young trainee who are studying to become a chef.
