It is offered to an asylum seeker or applicant granted a temporary form of leave, to provide financial assistance in order to enable them to take up a place on an undergraduate degree at the University of Sussex.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Worth_of_Award\"\/><strong>Worth of Award<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h4>\n<p>Full overseas tuition fee waiver plus \u00a311,500 maintenance per year of study.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eligibility\"\/><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h4>\n<p>To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have been offered a place on an undergraduate degree at the University of Sussex. You must also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be an asylum-seeker;\u00a0<strong>or<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Have been granted a temporary form of leave to remain as a result of an asylum application (e.g. limited leave to remain, humanitarian protection);\u00a0<strong>or<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Be a partner\/child of an asylum seeker or an unaccompanied asylum-seeking child;\u00a0<strong>and<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Have a household income of under\u00a0\u00a325,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Apply\"\/><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Please complete the scholarship application form after you have applied to study an undergraduate course at the University of Sussex.<\/li>\n<li>As part of your application you will be required to submit a personal statement, which will be assessed on the following:<\/li>\n<li>Your personal circumstances and family\u2019s history, particularly the circumstances that created obstacles that you have overcome to study at Sussex.
