Category A: Direct Entry Scheme<\/p>\n
To be eligible for consideration for admission through direct entry, a candidate must:<\/p>\n
I)<\/span>Have obtained a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (C.S.E.E.) or the East African Certificate of Education or equivalent with at least three credit passes in appropriate subjects.<\/span><\/p>\nAND<\/p>\n
II)<\/span>Have an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (A.C.S.E.E.) or equivalent with at least two principal level passes in appropriate subjects with a total of 2.0 or more points and three credits at \u2018O\u2019 Level.<\/span><\/p>\nIII)<\/span>For Applicants with RPL qualifications, the minimum qualification is \u2018B\u2019 grade<\/span><\/p>\nAND<\/p>\n
IV) Fulfil the following Faculty requirements:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n(a)<\/span>Faculty of Education<\/span><\/p>\n1.3.1<\/span>Bachelor of Education Special Needs (Science Subjects):<\/span><\/p>\nThe candidate must have at least two Principal Level passes in the following appropriate subjects in the A.C.S.E.E. or equivalent: Chemistry, Physics, Biology\/Botany\/Zoology, Mathematics, Geography or Agriculture, one of which must be the chosen Science Teaching Subject.<\/p>\n
The sum of the points from the two principal level passes should not be less than 2.0 points.<\/p>\n
1.3.2 Bachelor of Education Special Needs (Arts Subjects):<\/p>\n
The candidate must have at least two Principal Level passes in any arts subjects in the A.C.S.E.E.<\/p>\n
(b)<\/span>Faculty of Science<\/span><\/p>\n1.3.3<\/span>Bachelor of Science in\u00a0<\/span>Eco-tourism and Nature Conservation:<\/p>\nTo be eligible for consideration for admission, the candidate must have at least two Principal Level passes in the following appropriate subjects in the A.C.S.E.E. or equivalent: Chemistry, Physics, Biology\/Botany\/Zoology, Mathematics, Geography, and Agriculture.<\/p>\n
The sum of the points from the two principal level passes should not be less than 2.0 points.<\/p>\n
1.3.4 Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Rehabilitation:<\/p>\n
The candidate must be a holder of either Diploma in Clinical Medicine (Clinical Officer) or Advanced Diploma in Clinical Medicine (Assistant Medical Officer) and have a working experience of two years or more.<\/p>\n

\n\nA one year foundation course is mandatory for all direct entry candidates before starting the 4 years programme<\/p>\n
(c) Faculty of Law<\/p>\n
1.3.5 Bachelor of Laws<\/p>\n
For applicants to the Bachelor of Laws degree, the candidate must have obtained a credit in English at C.S.E.E. or a Principal Pass in English at A.C.S.E.E.<\/p>\n
Category B: Equivalent Qualifications<\/p>\n
Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (C.S.E.E) or East African Secondary Education (Ordinary Level) or Equivalent with at least FOUR Passes (D\u2019s) in appropriate subjects<\/p>\n
AND<\/p>\n
I) Fulfilling the following faculty wise requirements:<\/p>\n
(a) Faculty of Education<\/p>\n
Diploma from a recognised\/accredited institution with a G.P.A of<\/p>\n

Diploma in a relevant field of Physical, Chemical or Biological Sciences such as Forestry or Beekeeping or Wildlife Management or Agriculture from a recognized\/accredited institution with a G.P.A of 2.0 or above OR an average of C or above.<\/p>\n

A Bachelor\u2019s degree (of at least second class standing) from an accredited\/recognized university\/institution in the following areas of study:<\/p>\n
