This is in line with HWSETA\u2019s mission to provide quality health and social services in world-class levels. HSWETA\u00a0also aims to provide people with better life and holds integrity, transparency, transformation and service excellence as core values.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"HWSETA_Postgraduate_Bursaries\"\/>HWSETA Postgraduate Bursaries<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>The HWSETA\u00a0 inviting applicants who are full time\u00a0South African students continuing Postgraduate (Honours, Masters, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral) studies at\u00a0South African universities\u00a0to apply for the Postgraduate bursary scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Any areas of study that falls within the Health and Social Development discipline will be considered, however, preference will be given to research proposals that are included in the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disability \u2013 youth, child, elderly and mental health care<\/li>\n<li>Infant Mortality \u2013 ethical and legal issues<\/li>\n<li>Epidemiology and clinical leadership \u2013\u00a0possible control of diseases and other factors relating to health<\/li>\n<li>Demography and population studies \u2013\u00a0births, deaths or the incidence of disease<\/li>\n<li>Environmental health and Work safety<\/li>\n<li>Primary Health Care<\/li>\n<li>Information, Communications and Technology in the health division<\/li>\n<li>Health Economics and Labour Market studies<\/li>\n<li>Contemporary social development issues<\/li>\n<li>Integration of African indigenous medicine into the mainstream and modern health care services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The HWSETA bursary will be granted according to the academic merit, research scope and relevance to the health sector, research publication potential and research potential innovation and impact.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"HWSETA_Bursary_Requirements_and_Eligibility\"\/>HWSETA\u00a0 Bursary Requirements and Eligibility<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizenship<\/li>\n<li>Full-time students\u00a0pursuing Honours, Masters, Doctoral and Post-Doctoral studies at South African universities<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who are studying or pursuing studies in the Health and Social Development areas<\/li>\n<li>Honours students who wish to pursue studies that will lead to professional registration and licensing such<\/li>\n<li>Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Apply_and_Application_Details\"\/>How to Apply and Application Details<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Download and complete an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/allbursaries.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/hwseta_bursary_application_form_2018.pdf\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">HWSETA Bursary Application Form<\/a>.
