SACCCS is also an\u00a0authority for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) related activities in South Africa.\u00a0Carbon Capture &amp; Storage is a new technology and is one of the eight Near-Term Flagship Programmes in the National Climate Change Response Strategy white paper by the Department of\u00a0Environmental\u00a0Affairs. This year, SACCCS has started\u00a0a Pilot CO2 Storage Project (PCSP).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SACCCS_Bursaries\"\/>SACCCS Bursaries<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p>As an aim to improve the energy research and development human capital available to the country, the South African Centre for Carbon Capture and Storage (SACCCS) invites students to apply for academic financial support in the form of the bursary. Bursaries are available to Honours, Masters and Doctorate students in the field of research-based studies and are subject to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/allbursaries.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/SACCCS-Bursary-Terms-and-Conditions.pdf\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">SACCCS bursary conditions<\/a>\u00a0failure to comply will result to the withdrawal of the bursary.<\/p>\n<p>The Bursary will be awarded for one year only for full-time study and should be renewed according to SACCCS decision based on the availability of funds and the grantee\u2019s academic results.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SACCCS_Bursary_Requirements_and_Eligibility\"\/>SACCCS Bursary Requirements and Eligibility<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Full-time student at the university\/university of technology<\/li>\n<li>Students who wish to pursue a career in the fields related to Carbon Capture and Storage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Apply_and_Application_Details\"\/>How to Apply and Application Details<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Download and complete the SACCCS\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/allbursaries.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/SACCCS-Call-for-Bursaries-2017-Application-Form-002.pdf\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">bursary application form<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Accompany your application with certified copies of the following documents:\n<ul>\n<li>ID<\/li>\n<li>Matric certificate<\/li>\n<li>Academic record<\/li>\n<li>University\/University of Technology proof of registration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Submit application by post or by email:\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Closing_Date\"\/>Closing Date<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h3>\n<p>None.
