Please Make sure that you read the whole guide because we have taken into account all the ways that you can learn and understand the University of the Free State (UFS) Application Deadline (Closing Date) for the best tips for you!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please click\u00a0<a href=\"prospective\/prospective-students\/undergraduate\/prospectus-2022\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">HERE<\/a>\u00a0to consult the 2022 Undergraduate Prospectus\u00a0to ensure you meet the minimum entrance requirements before applying.<\/li>\n<li>Each prospective student must complete the online application.<\/li>\n<li>Once your online application\u00a0has been submitted and processed, you will receive a student number (Reference number).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Receiving a student number (Reference number) does NOT imply that you have been accepted by the University of the Free State yet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the case of applicants re-writing Grade 12 subjects, applications will be processed on the current results available.\u00a0If Grade 12 has been written more than once then your combined results must be submitted with your application.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants writing the National Senior Certificate (NSC) through IEB or SACAI examining bodies can apply online by selecting \u201cNational Senior Certificate\u201d under the Results Detail page of the online application process.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants currently in Grade 12 are requested to provide school stamped copies of final Grade 11.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants transferring from another university\/tertiary institution are required to declare their previous studies when applying as well as upload a full academic record\/transcript and degree\/diploma certificate (where applicable).<\/li>\n<li>The University of the Free State does \u00a0not accept the General Education Development (GED) test for entry into any of its curricular undergraduate qualifications.\u00a0 The GED is no longer recognised by Universities South Africa (USAf), and is not equivalent to a South African grade 12 (NSC\/IEB\/SACAI).\u00a0 Applicants who completed the GED and would like to study towards an undergraduate curricular qualification are advised to register and complete a grade 12 NSC\/IEB\/SACAI or international equivalent thereof.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who did not complete SC\/NSC\/IEB must have USAF\u00a0accreditation from the\u00a0examination board for South African Universities.
