1.0 Call for applications<\/strong><\/p>\n

The general public is hereby informed that the government of New Zealand has offered a full funded scholarship to qualified Tanzanian through New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships for postgraduate (Masters and PhD) studies tenable in various Universities in New Zealand for the academic year .<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

2.0 Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants must meet all the eligibility criteria as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong academic ability, leadership qualities and a commitment to the development of our country;<\/li>\n
  • Applicants must be 39 years of age or younger at the time of commencing their scholarship;<\/li>\n
  • Applicants must be citizens of Tanzania;<\/li>\n
  • Applicants should apply to an Institution in New Zealand;<\/li>\n
  • Applicants will be required to provide evidence of proficiency in English language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    3.0 Mode of Application<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • The list of participating Universities in New Zealand, Information on the scholarship including eligible countries, application process, deadline, priority sectors are available through the following link<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • All applicants should fill application form in English, writing clearly using black or blue pen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Employed applicants must attach a letter from their employers confirming that, if granted scholarship will be allowed to utilize this opportunity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • To ensure that all applications are received without delay applicants are requested to scan and email their application documents in the first instance to\u00a0scholarships@mfat.govt.nz<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            3.1 Areas of specialization<\/strong><\/p>\n

            All applicants should align in the following preferred topics:<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Climate change and Resilience;<\/li>\n
            2. Food security and agriculture;<\/li>\n
            3. Renewable Energy; and<\/li>\n
            4. Good governance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              3.2 Applicants must submit two sets of the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n

              1. Completely filled application form;<\/li>\n
              2. Certified copy of birth certificate;<\/li>\n
              3. Certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts;<\/li>\n
              4. Certified copy of passport page of bio data; and<\/li>\n
              5. Two referee letters.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
