It is necessary for all the candidates to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria.\u00a0 In this article, we are providing the detailed information related to the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) Eligibility Criteria.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n BACHELOR OF ARTS WITH EDUCATION (BAE) \u2013 (3 years) BACHELOR OF KISWAHILI WITH EDUCATION (BAKE) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n BACHELOR OF ARTS IN GEOGRAPHY & ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES (BAGES) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n BACHELOR OF ARTS IN HISTORY (BAH) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n Entry Requirements<\/p>\n The applicant should possess:<\/p>\n i)<\/span>Five passes at Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) or its equivalent, three of which should be at credit level (C) in relevant subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n PLUS<\/p>\n ii)<\/span>Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least two<\/span><\/p>\n (2)<\/span>Principal passes in appropriate subjects of not less than 4.5 points\u00a0<\/span>excluding Religious studies\u00a0<\/span>(those with higher scores will be given priority).<\/p>\n OR<\/p>\n iii)<\/span>Holders of appropriate and recognized Diplomas of not less than Second Class (GPA of 3.5) or above.<\/span><\/p>\n BACHELOR OF SCIENCE WITH EDUCATION (BScED) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n Entry Requirements<\/p>\n i)<\/span>Five passes including relevant science subjects at Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) of the National Examinations Council (NECTA) of Tanzania or its equivalent, three of which should be at credit level (\u2018C\u2019 is a minimum).<\/span><\/p>\n PLUS<\/p>\n ii)<\/span>Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least two<\/span><\/p>\n (2)<\/span>principal passes in relevant science subjects of not less than 4 points.<\/span><\/p>\n 4<\/p>\n<\/div>\n OR<\/p>\n iii) Holders of recognized and relevant Diplomas of not less than Second Class level (GPA 3.5) or above.<\/p>\n BACHELOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION & MANAGEMENT (BITAM) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n Entry Requirements<\/p>\n i.<\/span>Three credit passes (\u2018C\u2019 is minimum) at Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) or its equivalent.<\/span><\/p>\n PLUS<\/p>\n Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least two (2) Principal passes, provided that subject combination is not merely comprised of languages or religious subjects.<\/p>\n OR<\/p>\n ii.<\/span>A Diploma in IT, Computer Science or other relevant accredited Diploma by recognized Institutions with a GPA of not less than 3.5.<\/span><\/p>\n BACHELOR OF SCIENCE AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WITH EDUCATION (BSc & IT-Ed) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n Entry Requirements<\/p>\n i)<\/span>Two principal passes at the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent, obtained from the following science subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology or geography, with a total of not less than 4.0 points. A subsidiary in the second subject will be allowed if the candidate obtains a \u2018D\u2019 grade or above in the subject he\/she wishes to major in his\/her undergraduate degree.<\/span><\/p>\n AND<\/p>\n Three credits \u2018C\u2019 in the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA or East African Certificate of Education (EACE) \u2013 \u201cO\u201d level or its equivalent.<\/p>\n OR<\/p>\n ii)<\/span>A relevant accredited Diploma, by recognized Institutions with a GPA of not less than 3.5, where a candidate majored in any of the five science subjects listed<\/span><\/p>\n 5<\/p>\n<\/div>\n above. Holders of Diploma in Computer Science will be admitted for \u2018IT \u2013 Mathematics degree combinations only.<\/p>\n BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (BScEH) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n Entry Requirements<\/p>\n i)<\/span>Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least two<\/span><\/p>\n (2)<\/span>principal passes of not less than four (4) points in all subjects, the applicants should have a\u00a0<\/span>background of science.<\/span><\/p>\n PLUS<\/p>\n Five passes at Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) or its equivalent, three of which should be at credit level (\u2018C<\/span>) in Science subjects.<\/p>\n OR<\/p>\n ii)<\/span>Holders of a recognized Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences or any other relevant Diplomas of not less than Second Class grade (GPA 3.5). Applicants with working experience have more advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING (BScN) \u2013 (3 years)<\/p>\n Entry Requirements<\/p>\n Students to be enrolled in this programme are nurses with Diploma in Nursing and\/or Midwifery\/psychiatry who have a pass at \u2018B+\u2019 grade at the exits examination. They should be Form IV with at least 2 credits in the science subjects.
