This Post provides HESLB Background details and Other Related Information. <span class=\"dropcap\">H<\/span>igher Education Students\u2019 Loans Board was established by Act No. 9 of 2004, inaugurated by the Hon. Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology on the 30th March 2005 and became operational in July 2005. The objective of the Board is to assist, on a loan basis, needy students who secure admission in accredited higher learning institutions, but who have no economic power to pay for the costs of their education. The Board is also entrusted with the task of collecting due loans from previous loan beneficiaries in order to have a revolving fund in place so as to make the Board sustainable.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mission\"\/>Mission<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"dropcap\">T<\/span>o be a centre of excellence for provision of loans to needy and eligible Tanzanian students of higher learning institutions.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Vision\"\/>Vision<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"dropcap\">T<\/span>o put in place a well managed and sustained revolving students\u2019 loan fund to enhance access to higher education needy and eligible Tanzanian students.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ja-typo-blockrow cols-3 clearfix\">\n<h2 class=\"ja-typo-title\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Core_Values\"\/>Core Values<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"\/><\/h2>\n<div class=\"ja-typo-block\">\n<div class=\"ja-typo-blockct clearfix\">\n<ul class=\"ja-typo list list-arrow\">\n<li>team work<\/li>\n<li>transparency<\/li>\n<li>accountability<\/li>\n<li>commitment<\/li>\n<li>integrity<\/li>\n<li>equity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Find more information about HESLB Background.
