About Smythe Institutte College of Management & Technology
Goal The goal of the Smythe Institute of Management & Technology is to provide quality educational programs in post war-Liberia that is sensitive to the needs of all people particularly the youths by building up the values, attitudes, behavior and involvement in moral, educational, economical and cultural life within the academic communities within Liberia and the Diaspora. Mission Statement The Smythe Institute of Management & Technology (SIMT) was established on May 5, 1999 to train, develop and transform middle level young technocrats in the human resource capacity building for utilization by the economy thereby contributing to the national development and reconstruction process of Liberia. Vision The Vision of SIMT is to establish a middle level professional training Junior College and transform into a vibrant University that will equip students with an intellectual foundation, challenging and shaping the minds and arming them with skills that would enable them to function in a pluralistic and technological society and the world at large.
