CASVA Paul Mellon And Ailsa Mellon Bruce Visiting Senior Fellowship

Eligibility

• Visiting senior fellowships are open to all nationalities.
• The candidates applying should have held a Ph.D. for five years or more at the time of application.
• Or the candidates who possess an equivalent record of professional accomplishment are eligible to apply.
• The candidates who are currently affiliated with the National Gallery of Art are not eligible for the visiting senior fellowship program.

Selection criteria

• The applications made by the candidates are reviewed by an external selection committee.
• The selection committee is composed of scholars in the history of art and related disciplines. Outside readers may also assist in evaluating the proposals.

Value of award

• The successful applicants of visiting senior fellowships will be receiving stipends for two-month fellowships range from $6,000 to $8,000. The stipends also depend on the relocation requirements.
