South Kensington Campus at Imperial College London is inviting applications for Village Senior Supervisor PhD Position for the academic session.

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will assist with the management of several halls of residence within one of our three Villages. The successful candidate will assist in leading a small, highly skilled and flexible team of Hall Staff providing a proactive, effective and professional customer-focused service to all student residents and guests residing in our halls of residence.
You will have particular responsibilities during the summer months, when you will be expected to assist the Village Management Team with front of house operations during the commercial letting period. You must be passionate, driven, enthusiastic and dedicated. You will possess outstanding communication and organizational skills and will have a proven track record of delivering the highest level of customer service in an educational/residential environment.
Worth of Award
The position is worth £32,850 – £37,089 plus benefits
Eligibility
To be considered eligible, applicants must have;
- Proven experience of working in the higher education residential/guest accommodation sector
- Knowledge of the law relating to Equal Opportunities an Diversity and staff recruitment
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation in relation to the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and the Student Accommodation Code
- Knowledge of computerized accommodation management and booking systems
- Experience of managing teams and the development of staff to their full potential with influence to persuade, providing direction and motivation
- Effective communication skills: oral and written
- Adept at interpreting data and compiling reports
