The European, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Union for UK, EU and International Students are offering fully funded Erasmus Mundus scholarships for the Joint Master Degree on electric vehicle propulsion and control in 2020
E-PiCo is a 2-year Master programme that offers useful and necessary multidisciplinary topics in the e-mobility field. E-PiCo will provide technical and scientific solutions to the issue of fossil consumption and greenhouse gas emission. It is devised to train students in the field of e-mobility in order to have them work towards ecological transition. It is directly applicable to industry by training future electric propulsion system expert graduates. Through lectures by reputable researchers, practical work on the latest experimental platforms, sessions with industrial specialists, annual workshops, E-PiCo students acquire the most advanced knowledge that will prepare them for the upcoming challenges in e-mobility
E-PiCo, Electrical Vehicule Propulsion and Control, is an integrated Master’s course designed and conducted by partner institutions sharing a common vision of e-mobility:

- Universitatea Politehnica din Bucuresti, Romania.
Worth of Award
Erasmus+ EMJMD Scholarships include:
- Contribution to the participation costs (including the tuition fees, library and laboratory costs, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to the students’ participation in the Master):
- €9 000 / year for Partner country students (Non-European)
- €4 500 / year for Programme country students (European)
- Contribution to the travel and installation costs
- €1 000 / year for student resident in a Programme Country for travel costs
- €2 000 / year for travel costs + €1 000 for installation costs for student resident in a Partner Country whose location is situated at less than 4 000km from the EMJMD coordinating HEI
- €3 000 / year for travel costs + €1 000 for installation costs for student resident in a Partner Country whose location is situated at 4 000km or more from the EMJMD coordinating HEI
- Distance is calculated by the consortium using the EACEA calculator
- Contribution to the subsistence costs/living allowance (max. 24 months)
- €1 000 / month for students from Partner Countries (not when in country of residence, and max. 3 months in any Partner Country)
- €1 000 / month for students from Programme Countries (not when in country of residence)

How to Apply

- Proof of residence: the place of residence is verified on the basis of provision of the documents listed on the PRADO website or on the basis of one of the following documents:
- a residence certificate issued in accordance with the candidate’s municipality normal registration rules
- a certificate from the candidate’s place of work, study or training issued by the employer or institution in question
- Academic degree and transcripts of all university studies with translation into English, i.e. Bachelor, Master or equivalent. If the degree is due to be obtained after the deadline, a certificate from the institution indicating the situation of the student and the expected date of graduation must be provided
- Cover letter
- Recognized International English test Certificate, not older than 3 years: TOEFL (CBT 220, PBT 550, IBT 80), Cambridge English Test (B or higher), IELTS (6.5 or higher), TOEIC (800). No other test is recognized. This document is not required if the language of instruction of your studies is English. The fact must be certified by an official document or letter from the university. In that case, submitting an English Test Certificate is not compulsory, but can add value to your application.
NB: the GRE code is provided for students who have GRE results and want to submit them. Note that the GRE is NOT compulsory, nor can it replace the English Test Certificate.
