The Zambezi Vocational Training Centre is located in the vibrate town of Katima Mulilo of the Zambezi Region of north-eastern Namibia, alongside the mighty Zambezi River.
The centre first opened its doors in 1993 with initial enrolment of 36 trainees studying three (3) vocational trades. Over the years, enrolment has grown to approximately 500 trainees with over 25 vet trainers, teaching various trades. Over one-half of the trainee population is female.
ZVTC operates under the auspices of Namibia Training Authority (NTA)
