- The applicants of Vantage One Excellence Award, 2017 should be an international student.
- Canadian citizen or permanent residents of Canada are not eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicants should have applied for an undergraduate program and received an offer from UBC at Vancouver campus.
- Candidates should be applying for their first undergraduate degree.
- Academic excellence of the candidate is taken into consideration and the candidates are expected to have at least an “A” average or equivalent standard.
- Applicants of the award should be nominated by the academic institution they have recently graduated from or currently attending.
- Financial need of the candidate is considered and the candidate should demonstrate a significant level of financial need.
- The value of the awards depends on the applicant.
